Woah. The ninja law REALLY hurts the Beyonders.

*The* Beyonder >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> thousands of Beyonders.

[B]New Avengers #32 2/2

Spoiler:
The other scans I left out are Thor, Hyperion, Abyss, Ex Nihilo, Starbrand and Nightmask on an abandoned Mapmaker world. They discover a husk of a Mapmaker and find a map to the location of the Beyonders realm. Nightmask uses his abilities to teleport them there which ends up with them appearing in the first scan posted.

Don't care for their new look.

So...

The Beyonders look entirely beatable now. They went from high abstract to skyfather at best. 😂

Hyperion swatted the hell out of that one Beyonder though when they all came out.

I hope Thor and Hyperion survive and get an ongoing together.

Their bromance is awesome.

At last Hickman listened to Zop and had starbrand kill a beyonder. Also lol at one getting turned into a tree by Abyss and Ex Nihilo.

I've never seen such a disparity in power levels under one writer.

I actually like the Ex-Nihilo and Abyss defeat more than the Starbrand. They used the malleability of the Beyonder's physical forms against them and converted their energy. Them and all of the other Ex-Nihilo's. Still stupid as shit but I liked it.

Still, the Starbrand is way more powerful than them and it was all his energy unleashed in one blast.

In one comic they can defeat the entire Celestial race, in the next it looks like one Celestial could beat their entire race.

I don't even ****ing know what to make of this.

But killing beyonders and turning them into trees by starbrand and Abyss? That's some major jobbing.

LT vs Abyss and Ex Nihilo thread coming right up.

I'm sure you'd love that.

This phucking disparity....

That's why I said it felt like intentional trolling from Hickman.

Starbrand would fist **** LT at this point bro. All it lacked was Hulk smashing beyonders up in the ass. I hope Hickman has hulk take on beyonders next. Internet would ****ing break in half.

If the Beyonders are going to be continued to be written like this then what's the actual threat anymore of the war? Half the fun was trying to figure out what they could do to stop them. Now Franklin could solo the whole race.

Maybe they're only going to be written high against high level beings? But the shitshow that leaves.

The only way this makes sense is if it was the entire race doing the abstract killing, but it blatantly says it took one to finish off the Celestials and we're to assume they moved on while Pym was watching and killed the rest.

And I thought Geoff Johns was bad when writing high powered beings against lesser powered ones.

This was awful.

The ones who killed the LT and whatnot looked completely different though?

I thought there were just some shitty footmen celestials.

You'd really want that? As a DC fan you'd want Hulk beating things that turned LT inside out? I understand disparity and all but it would still be the worst.

At this point I'm hoping Pym just made that all up. That's the only explanation at this point.

That could work. They were child units like original Beyonder.

Now hopefully that actually gets stated...

The sheer butthurt and tears would make up for it. Also Carver might get a stroke, so win win.

Tbh, I don't think they (writers) care about battle boarders lol.

And for the best. But this? This was **** writing. Absolutely horrible. I normally don't care about power-level disparity but this was straight up ridiculous. Three of these things killed the LT and now Abyss and the Ex Nihilos take out one and Starbrand takes out another...

Hopefully it's revealed that these are the Beyonders soldiers or something and not the Beyonders themselves. After all, it's actually a great scene (especially that ending!) if these aren't actually nigh-omnipotent beings.
