I'm not using that as a feat of evidence for regular Thor being able to survive being stabbed in the chest (Plenty of other evidence for that in Aaron's run). It's just that a particular poster earlier argued that it wasn't Hela cursed Thor and he died in the last comic proving his vulnerability to being run through. You could probably guess who. I was further proving how foolish his assessment was.
I guess I should have worded it more carefully.
For the record, Hela's curse makes him unable to die but it removes his ability to heal while keeping his ability to feel pain and makes him far less durable. Anyone using it any capacity for regular Thor needs to be checked.

It's an old bait and switch tactic. Though only small gods from small worlds need a curse to survive being stabbed in the Heart. Ghost soldier split Superman's heart in half and Superman survived it on his own after all.
