Because I am not sure of the timeline of the handbook I always go along with the "other heroes" comment perhaps applying to X-Man at least in the Galactus encounter.

And then of course if the handbook pre-dated the Sentry's talk with X-Man then that theory is null.

I think I will D/L every handbook after a certain date and see if I can find the date it was written.

I'll save you the trouble.

Thanks a lot for that mate. I had been looking for a while. Big help 👆

Well that kind of diminishes my theory (going by the date)

Back to square one. Guess there isn't really a explanation for the discrepancy other than a writer added more to the lore then.

Is Contest of Champions canon?

Yes. But it's not all 616 characters though. All from a bunch of different realities

What's the gist of the text? Too small for me to read on my phone.

^ That Sentry may or may not have had help when he fought Galactus... But as Nate confirmed in 'Dark X-Men', he did.

I think Nate was just playing mind games with the Sentry. X-Man grew up in the Age of Apocalypse dimension so he couldn't possibly have teamed up with 616 Sentry during the latter's "forgotten years".

I always saw it as mind games from X-man. Taking advantage of Sentry.

He also said on the next page that he told him the truth. After Osbourne specifically accused him by saying "We knew you were clever" (something like that). And Nate said,

"Clever be damned, I told him the truth"

I know what you're saying with Nate's origin but all evidence points to them having fought Galactus at one point in the past. And as always with some authors they won't consider previous continuities of characters and how that would work. But there could be an explanation somehow. Or there might not be one. There isn't always one until a new writer addresses it.

Daredevil owns Panther.

So Kick, Kick, Kick vs. Punch, Knee, Double Axe handle with no KO in what amounts to a skirmish among heroes in your mind equals ownage? 😂 Glad to see Black Panther is in your head. 👆

CO thread was specifically made for all kinds of ownage - including non-canon, out of context and "just looking better" fights.

Matt did indeed end up looking better and knocked T'Challa on his ass, that's more than enough to justify posting it here.

If it had been posted in BP vs. DD thread, you would've been allowed to nitpick it all to hell, but not here. Here, you are simply spamming. You've been here for almost 3 years, you know well how this thread works.

it's kind of funny to see panther still being an peer of daredevil while only using his feet. It's also nice to know that he did better than a certain hairy Canadian midget with unbreakable bones. 😖hifty:

that's not the fight that I was talking about and you know it. Either way, panther (and most of the marvel univers) has still plunked Logan more than once.

Keep deathslashing like that and you'll overload and become a lightslash 😉
