I honestly wasn't a fan of the helmet, though not because it wasn't good; I just think it looks weird without the suit. The shield is great though. If the hammer is even remotely as well made, i'll be impressed.

I would prefer the gauntlet or gauntlets for Iron man since the motif is more geared to what is the character's weapon.

I haven't seen the stuff Galan's talking about from Thor's 2011 mini, but when he first busted out the form it was made clear that he was a fair share above an Avenger's lineup that included people Sersi and Masterson Thor.

I was gonna write this as a full-fledged script, but I honestly don't know if i should or not. For me, the only way to redeem most of the X-Men would be for it to be revealed that during Messiah Complex, Cable saw the future and the terrigen bomb. That he saw all this coming and he told Cyclops.
Everything Cyclops has done since then, from forming X-Force, to developing bioweapons, hosting the Phoenix, even Colossus becoming Juggernaut, was all intended to ready the X-Men to fight for their own survival once shit hit the fan. Not that it all worked out, mind you, but I think it would explain a lot, and would help explain the frankly stupid behaviour of some of the X-Men.
