Immortus already one-shotted future Iron Man and future Hulk without any problem. It's an average showing for him.

Not really surprising that Batman beat him(we all expected it.) However, I do take solace in the fact that Bane beat the bejesus out of Bruce earlier in the arc, and again beat the crap out of him here... The only reason Bruce 'won' is because Bane got cocky and left himself open/vulnerable for an instant. 👆

Bane was weakened after this gauntlet, it was basically his own Banefall arc...

Indeed he was. Bane had literally smashed his way through every baddie in Batman's rogue gallery just before fighting Batman himself. No way he was still at his peak... And he also didn't Venom-dose before the fight began.

That said, Bane still beat the shit out of Batman in that battle. His own arrogance is what undid him -- not Batman's superiority or w/e. I'm fine with the outcome, tbh... I knew Bruce couldn't outright beat him h2h, but I also knew he would still win nonetheless(he's got a major arc starting next issue, after all.) So yeah...

*Plus, like I said, Bane had already pummeled the christ out of Bruce a few issues prior:
