I don't hate him, actually. I just treat him the way DC intended - as a joke.
He's everything Namor is not.

Aquaman is a great character. Nothing is wrong with him.

Namor has my respect. He was created before Curry, too.
Aquaman... the entire Internet laughs at him. His costume made out of pure vomit. Whenever he tries to be badass, it feels extremely forced. Talking to fish. Superfriends cartoon (did some irreperable damage).
I'm sure there are some stories with him I could enjoy. His recent tussle with Gotham, for example vin :

If you're not gonna try, then this just isn't gonna go anywhere.
That Superman scene makes no sense.
Red sun radiation doesn't have the same effect as kryptonite on kryptonians. Kryptonite radiation makes kryptonians weak/dying while they are exposed to it, but they regain their power once the radiation stops. On the other hand, red sun radiation REPLACES the yellow sun energy stored in the kryptonian's body thus "depleting" their power. Even if the radiation is then turned off the kryptonian would still remain depowered until s/he has recharged under a yellow sun. From where is Superman supposed to be absorbing power in that room once the red sun radiation started to lose intensity? There's no yellow sun source in the room; if the lights go off the room will just be dark.

I have a question:
If there is pee in the water and that Aquaman's cells absorb it...
Does he become depowered ? XD

Red sun radiation blocks Superman from accessing his yellow reserves, it doesn't replace them.
