depends on which ones your talking about. Some of them can casually destroy buildings, the upper level SF characters can destroy islands and cities, and Akuma has actually oneshot a meteor that might have destroyed the hemisphere of the world that he was in.

With that said, most Street fighter characters aren't even half as ruthless as the nicest mortal combat character.

MK lore used to be good, hell maybe even great, until they rebooted the series back with MK9 in 2011. And then MKX ruined it even worse. What a terribly written story that was.

MK characters power wise don't stand a chance against SF characters though.

What about Raiden? He can teleport. How would Ryu stop Raiden from teleporting him 1000 feet into the air?

Teleporting is only helpful if you arent massively slower than your opponent.

Ryu could speed blitz Raiden. Not to mention Bison can teleport too so its nothing unusual for SF.
