almost as soon as the new 52 began. The Guardians basically lobotomized Ganthet so he'd be unfeeling and then they left the corps to fend for themselves while they went and built an army of super zombies to destroy all of the emotional corps. Meanwhile, Hal was off playing with the Justice League while Kyle was playing with the New Guardians. I think we both know who is more deserving of leadership between Guy and John and the GL are still alive, so John's obviously been doing his job right.
