This is literally talking to the reader, and telling them "he's the best, you can eat shit".

I also lol'd @ how salty Guy was: "...Wouldn't be a crisis if Jordan didn't get all the credit." 😂
...Reminds me of several people on the forum who just can't admit how powerful Hal is. 😄
The dude just stomped THE most powerful GL item this side of the CPB itself... An item so powerful that it took hundredS of Lanterns(from BOTH Corps) combining their powers, just to destroy its basic constructs... But like so much of the other insanely uber shit Hal's done, I'm sure this will also be ignored by some, lol.

Seeing how much respect Supes and Hal are getting, it really makes me want to see the original Justice League back together - Supes, Diana, Hal, Barry, J'onn, Aquaman, under the hands of a really good writer [Hickman?].
Cyborg and the minority-quota-GLs are really ruining it. And the Justice League means that the former is here to stay for a while [unless they bring back the original Teen Titans]
^ Hell, I'm starting to think Venditti could handle a classic Justice League book very well. He's done great things with the GL franchise across the board, and there are a LOT of moving parts in that continuity to organize/sort through -- so we know he's at least a good 'continuity-multitasker'(a key trait needed for a team book to be successful, imo.)

I haven't read the former but from what I understood there, Rip Hunter put up a shield and Hal ripped apart the Krona Gauntlet that he buried, destroying the sentient armor version from the future? That doesn't really have anything to do with defeating the actual Krona Gauntlet straight up then.

It seems like they are digging for its. It's like me posting Hulk during his small briefing against Avengers World punching Thor on the ground and throwing Hyperion afterwards calling it a stomp in his favor.
Originally posted by Rage.Of.OlympusThe Gauntlet had transformed into conscious/sentient willpower -- that's why Sarko kept it buried. He was able to tap into its power without having to physically wear it, otherwise he risked being corrupted by it(all of this was explained over the course of this arc.) That said, Hal ripping the Gauntlet apart means that he overpowered the will-energies the Gauntlet was generating... Which demonstrates superiority over the device itself.

...That's why, for example, Rip Hunter couldn't have just waltzed up and done what Hal did. The Gauntlet is now sentient(so to speak) and would have defended itself accordingly. That's why it *had* to be Hal -- only *he* possessed the power of will necessary to overpower the device. 👆
