The New Gods have been consistently written in a very uber light in the DCnU, but that arc certainly emphasized/highlighted their powers tremendously.

...Not that I disagree with their depictions, mind you. New Gods *should* be written above lower-dimensional beings, imo. 👆

A title like "Jack Kirby's Fourth World" would be perfect these days, as the original series centered almost exclusively on the day-to-day happenings of Apokolips/New Genesis -- something we *desperately* need more of in current continuity.

But as you mentioned: the New Gods as a race are criminally unexplored in the DCnU, despite the fact that an almost unlimited amount of story-potential is just sitting there, waiting to be explored.

...But I digress. ermm

just curious, in that arc supes found out that the guardians knew krypton was dying, soo supes was mad at them and all.. was that concept ever made it into canon before?
