Who cares if Supeparallax didn't look that good.

Superman alone did look better. Kind of shows how Superman didn't allow parallax to reach all of his real power and potential 👆 🙂

this. She got the Boba Fett treatment in TFA. What is it about Star Wars that makes them introduce new and interesting characters and then immediately shit on them?

Phasma completely failed, got overshadowed by this character:

Apparently it stopped Juggernaut. Iceman confirned more powerful than godblast as this juggernaut is more powerful than previous incarnation.

How would it confirm that Iceman is more powerful? Thor's Godblast also stopped the Juggernaut and actually started to push him backwards...

Abhi somehow believes more effective always means more powerful. 😂

Omega Level Gay Iceman has no limits, a single ice spike generated by him was used to one-shot Thor from behind, lol.

It didn't one shot him. It stabbed him and he was still ok

Ah, the okayness of Thor... legendary indeed vin

The first thought he had, "Did...did Hulk put his dick through my heart this time?"

So I just read Vision soloing an OP Avengers team rather casually.

I understand he got a power-up before the series, what was it?

I'm pretty sure the Vision prepped for the fight by sun-amping....

Is that mentioned? He meditated in the shielded house for a while, then used the vibranium lighter to escape the force-field, then seemed to go straight for the jail, where the Avengers confronted him.

Stilt, let's kiss and make-up.

@Phildo: maybe I am misremembering - but am pretty sure there was a scene (maybe from another book?) that had Vision amping. Maybe it was when Ultron returned (so a different story)?

In it, Ultron prepares for a fight with the Avengers by flying off to the Sun and soaking in the rays or somesuch.

One of the other members of the forum may have it.

I think I found it, it's in another series from 2014, Avengers A.I.:

So I guess he was upgraded - I haven't read the series yet, I suppose he kept it. He was still just using phasing and density shifting to beat the crap out of them, so I guess he just got...denser/stronger.

This comic did nothing but make Superman look asininely powerful, tbh. With NO formal training, he picks up Sinestro's ring and proceeds to DOMINATE the Parallax entity itself in the space of a few panels -- something not even Sinestro himself was capable of, despite HOURS of attempts.

...F*cking hell. none

Yup that's the scene

I loathe most of Rebirth, and I don't know why Superman is possessed by Parallax in the first place, but those last few pages (of the comic, not the scans posted)? Jesus Christ, his overpowering of Parallax in a random issue of Superman is as good as almost any Jordan has performed befoe.

Nice to see that Benes is back to being half-decent on pencils too.
