Yes, but again, using randomisatiom....

Quickly name as many reality warpers. You know, the top ten most powerful mutants, that kinda thing. World enders, timeline breakers, that kinda thing.

Your post is kinda all over the place. First you say yeah, but women are more passive therefore they're prob hiding (when half of all X-Men storyline are about teens who can't hide their powers and last out), then say yeah prob just marvel catering to the demographic, but there are logical reasons!

And as for Asian governments or what have you....again. reality warpers. Hell, even someone like Magnetic, who isn't exactly the most powerful mutants out there.

You're basically saying yeah, Asians and females are more submissive/less aggressive, so will hide more/be more easily controlled.

Yeah but women are actually well represented among the most powerful because they have people like Wanda, Jean and Rachel Grey, Hope etc. Women are typically portrayed as being pretty freaking powerful, especially among mutants.

Sorry, I'm not trying to send a mixed message or flip flop. I'm absolutely acknowledging the fact that the real motivation for a lack of women is Marvel catering to it's chief demographic, I'm just also saying that the numbers don't actually represent an under representation because men are more likely to step into this particular spotlight just as they do places like the military. There SHOULDN'T be as many female heroes/villains as there are males when you get right down to it. I feel your point in regards to Asians is much more solid than the idea that women are under represented.

Not if you have mutants, who are random (and thus, 50/50). Yes, I know there are many female mutants, before people start naming them. My point is that there should be equal numbers.

And Asian mutants would have higher numbers.

dude. there's way more males that read comics. no man is asking for changes in romance novels

😆

Yeah, exactly. No man is asking for changes in shitty musicals or romantic comedies, either.

yeah. these "equality" people are just ridiculous sometimes. they have the potential of losing readers because superheroes should be equally represented? most readers are male.

it's all about the bottom line.

Fair enough.

Top ten mutants. Like, absolute most powerful. No amps though, like Life Force or Phoenixes lol.

Your Legions, Proteuses, that sorta thing.

the Asian argument is more valid but Asians generally don't even seem to mind underrepresentation. they make their own heroes look white all the time for some reason.

where's the Mexican superheroes though? can someone name a few? I mean there's a ton of Mexican people in the states. can I get a Mexican avenger or something?

only time I can remember Mexicans in a comic book was when some migrant workers bashed silver surfer with a brick.

what kind of shiit is this dude. Mexicans only represented doing some black shiit like on Reginald denny. this is twisted

man. I just checked. we have some bs stereotype heroes like saw fist, PHUCKING bat hombre..., mas y menos 😂

and the Puerto rican Spider-Man has to be gay.

but you know what. i'm not going to complain. because it's ridiculous

That's the thing about Jean though, when last I heard her "true" primary mutation is that she's a perfect host for the Phoenix force, that's the whole reason she's an omega level mutant. I suspect that Rachel is the same way. I'm not a super close follower of the X universe so I honestly can't speak intelligently enough on it to even name 10 reality warper/cosmic types so I'll just give you that one because all I can think of is Wanda, Jean, Rachel, Proteus, and Legion and I'm betting you know of more that are guys. But think about this, Prof X was always revered as arguably the most powerful mutant short of that category UNTIL his sister popped up. And historically, women have been the real heavy hitters within the X-Men for years. Just look back at the classic days of the original blue and gold teams, the most powerful members were Storm, Jean(even without Phoenix), and Psylock. Rogue was the "muscle" on the Blue team. Back in X Factor, it was basically a toss up between who was most powerful between Polaris and Havok(basically came down to which type of powerset one considers to be "more powerful"😉. In Excalibur, Rachel blew everyone else out of the water.

Living lightnight, Skin, Toro, Tarantula, Miss America, and Darwin are all I can think of off the top of my head but I know there's actually quite a few more.

This is actually exactly what I was going for. There are likely men who read 50 shades of grey. There's no group of men banding together to make shitty changes to the book from firmly atop their high horses. They actually get off their butts and make something original if the idea is that important to them...because they want PRIDE in something they accomplished and would feel SHAME messing with anybody else's body of work.

edit. if anything a change by them would probably make 50 shades better.

powerful ones bro...1st rate characters. Darwin is half black also.

you won't find 1st rate Mexican characters. they are all super cholo or el matador or some bs.

there's less black people in this country than latinos. yet black people are way more represented in comics, television, and film.

why?

Living lightning is pretty powerful I think, just not very popular

Kyle Rayner is Half Mexican and Half Irish

Jaime Reyes is Mexican-American

Spiderman 2099 is Half Mex half Irish

Jessica Cruz (GL) and Robert Reyes (Ghost Rider) are Mexican Americans.

A few more characters of Hispanic descent that came to mind:

-Bane
-Jessica Cruz(GL)
-Sam Alexander(Nova)
-Jackie Estacado
-The Governor(TWD)
-Sunspot
-Aztek
-Accell(probably unknown to most of you because he's not from the 'big two', but he's a massively FTL speedster.)

Sigh

Ok. Its kinda simple. Im of mixed heritage right. Im female, Im in my mid 30s and im not stick figure or buxom goddess. So itd be nice to see someone who looks like me and talks like me as a hero. I know Im a minority but itd still be cool. And its not just comics. Its everywherre. Women and poc just tend to be screaming the loudest because for so long like say FOREVER. Our voices were either dismissed or not heard. Do i think its cool Odinson gets cucked to promote Jane? Or Diana has Clark makiing dinner? No. Because I still love the heroes I grew up with. I just wish people would understand how hard it is to actually get proper representation instead of hand waving it away and screaming sjw.
