SighOk. Its kinda simple. Im of mixed heritage right. Im female, Im in my mid 30s and im not stick figure or buxom goddess. So itd be nice to see someone who looks like me and talks like me as a hero. I know Im a minority but itd still be cool. And its not just comics. Its everywherre. Women and poc just tend to be screaming the loudest because for so long like say FOREVER. Our voices were either dismissed or not heard. Do i think its cool Odinson gets cucked to promote Jane? Or Diana has Clark makiing dinner? No. Because I still love the heroes I grew up with. I just wish people would understand how hard it is to actually get proper representation instead of hand waving it away and screaming sjw.
There's your problem...the fools are ruining it for those with legit concerns. And the ones who sincerely feel misrepresented...ARE making their own comics and starting their own comic companies. If something radically different is wanted its easier to start from scratch.

😚What about Cu Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill?
Are they in a comic book? I genuinely don't know.

I'm not going to pretend I know exactly what it would take to have a character that looks just like you in comics, but what I can say is that largely, that's all the current crop at Marvel in particular care about. They're too busy talking about how diverse they are to realise that actual people are losing money that they rely on day-to-day.
I'm all for representation, but I think it should be done properly. I don't want more 70s Banshee, for example.

I agree with Pr, and would add what they're doing is publicity stunt bs, and people can see right through that.No one's going to complain about creating new characters, or digging up and revitalizing old one's.
Good characters are good characters are good characters. It doesn't matter what colour they are or their sexual orientation, because that shouldn't define them.
There are plenty of well-loved minority characters already. There's no reason you can't add more.

That's not what this is about at all.
