Sad but true. Case in point, the best Thor (The real Thor) comic to come out in forever is this one:

That's pretty sad. :/

Nice showing for Wonder Woman. Taking on both Superman and Bizarro and temp koing Superman. I need to read the whole book. She was also holding back.
There's honestly as much truth in this summary as Abhi's original one.

The fight had a bunch of weird factors at play, and was inconclusive.

How was mine statement any distorted?

"Even a kryptonite affected Superman is too much for her"

The fight clearly wasn't over, and happened to be cut off just after Superman gets some hits in. Zatanna doesn't so much "save her" (implying she needed saving) as abducts them both.

Maybe Superman would have gone on to win, but maybe not. They just traded blows. And by the time he started hitting her, there's no indication that the kryptonite pellet still had any effect. Sure, it might have, but it's hardly the kryptonite-effected Superman that we've seen in the past.

YouTube video

Fake news always permeates this thread every Wednesday. Too much trying too hard.

LMAO

so then it's confirmed that Viltrumites can survive being ripped in half so long as their heart is ok? I'm jizzing blood right now.

Stoic should've kept Invincible, and fought us legless

MCU Synergy yo.....

616 Heimdall is black now? Omg.

Reminds me of Dr. Doom's most diabolical plan in his career:

He was flinging her around with no issues and was mocking her. You don't have to oneshot someone in comics to be "too much" for someone.

The fight clearly wasn't over, and happened to be cut off just after Superman gets some hits in. Zatanna doesn't so much "save her" (implying she needed saving) as abducts them both.

Those are consecutive images when Zatanna appears and had Diana on the ground after Superman beats her down. It's classic "save someone" strategy.

Maybe Superman would have gone on to win, but maybe not. They just traded blows. And by the time he started hitting her, there's no indication that the kryptonite pellet still had any effect. Sure, it might have, but it's hardly the kryptonite-effected Superman that we've seen in the past.

They did not trade blows in any manner. Diana hits him with her sword and next we see is only Superman beating her down.

Superman doesn't needs to keel over for there to be a kryptonite in effect. That was to show readers that Superman was weakened. Not that it was a temporary effect.

Comics don't work like that.

The clear implication is that Supes was going to beat WW. However, it doesn't matter. There were too many other factors at play for it to matter. Just like the Maxwell Lord thing. That fight can't be used as a metric for anything due to the mind control. This fight is the same thing, it can't really be used as any kind of metric due to the possession, even if it's implications are more favorable to us Superman fans. Gotta be consistent. If we don't count Maxwell Lord then we don't count this one either.

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet...

I expect Mangog to stomp the living shit out of War Thor, tbh.

Hmmm? What timeline does that follow? As Vols gave up being war Thor

Edit: dur! Takes place after he gave it up

Should be the same timeline right? He gave up the hammer (Thor then throws it some distance away) but it appears the hammer showed back up and he couldn't resist it.

This is so dumb it's actually funny.

I guess Astonishing Thor sold well enough to repeat the biting planet schtick...
