Good guys will win but that doesn't mean he stands a chance against him straight up. This is the same with heroes and villains but somehow superman fans try to make his history something more than it already is.

People were saying that Superman was going to solo Zod, mongul and the crew but it didn't happen. Said the same thing when they seen him facing Parallax and it didn't happen. I think people are looking at things a little too hard.
