Defenders Danny has been just awesome. Martial arts match's are better then his other two series.
And props to Bendis for having them go the distance (As well as to Marquez's amazing choreography.)
That said, giving credit where it's due, I'd say Danny won something of a pyrrhic victory. He could have won it any time with the IF, but chose to go it on Elektra's level.
The fact he had to use his trump says a lot about how good she really is.

He was confrontational as hell, by his words and the fact he tried chasing her down.
Totally justified, mind. But when you corner a killer, you know what you're getting.
And he could have ended it right at the start. The fight wasn't necessary, and completely Danny's decision to allow it to draw out.

Elektra had the upper hand the entire time, no two ways about it.
Danny held his own nicely enough where a win without the Iron Fist isn't impossible. He looked better then Logan did in Enemy of the State, that's for sure.
It looked kind of like a Hadoken.
I realize Elektra's kind of an obsolete character these days, so no one in editorial is going to protect her. But I honestly never thought someone with her rep would lose like that to Danny, even with an Iron Fist.
It just doesn't happen. He'll talk a good game about how Matt, Shang, Spidey, or Cap doesn't stand a chance against his trump, and then never take them out with it.
Comics are like professional wrestling, in that way. There's a pecking order. And Matt is definitely above Danny in the rankings, imo..

Its the Iron fist tho logically it should wreck all those guys but he seems to prefer a hand 2 hand battle over using it.
