As queen, she should have known as much and put someone in there that's not dying. One of the Warriors Three, maybe. Any Asgardian would have done.
I reckon Mangog is going to beat Odinson and Odin down to within an inch of their life....before Jane comes and saves them. Doing so kills her, though, whether it be from the chemo or Mangog, or both.
Or maybe Odinson saves her, just before she's crushed. Doing so, makes him worthy once more of the hammer, and Jane gives him the power of Thor, killing herself anyway and letting Odinson become Thor once more.
Crying, Odin says he's never met a finer warrior (as Thor looks on and agrees) nor a finer woman (as his dead wife lies there).
Then Thori the Hel-hound makes a quip and everyone laughs.

Abhi posted something a good while back showing Thor side by side with Jane using a different hammer. Anyone know what that was about?
Hey,I don't hate Thor,or Superman, or whatever. I read and enjoy both companies,and others. I actually am a fan of all of them....I like writers,rather than characters, if you get my drift.
Morrison writes JLA, I like JLA. He writes X-Men, I like the X-Men.
It also means I actually read and sometimes, on occasion, understand it enough to make a joke of it

I'm the same way with Dragon Ball Super.
Except for the not hating it part. I loath it. Only reason I keep up, is eternal hope my nostalgia will be rewarded, and a perverse need to see just how low it can go..
