Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling of conflicting external behavior with internal beliefs, usually about oneself.

So I don't see how that applies unless its used differently outside the psychology field.

Just looking at him though...doesn't he give off a wolverine vibe? No reason for it to be Logan that I know of, just has that feel.

That is Logan. There was the same kind of thing at the end of Captain America too where Logan just missed Cap at the bar. Its all leading up to his formal return I guess.
