Good day to be Carver

F*cking Robinson. It was explicitly stated that Diana's lasso doesn't work on Grail.
Clearly the lasso has broken its own limits. 👆

Zod is killing it, but Hal will find some pussy way to beat him.

Hal wouldn't fight Zod again...and on a world with TWO yellow suns with multiple Kryptonians backing him, no less...unless he was damn sure he could win, imo.

I expect Hal's victory to be pretty decisive(regardless of *how* he wins), but Zod will still give him hell.

The GLC will alter the suns while Zod/Hal fight, I think. I'd be shocked for Hal to beat him straight up without shenanigans.

Then again, in Action Comics Zod was shown in the future as still being on that planet. So theoretically, they should lose and let them be.

It might also be a cop-out, where they threaten his son/wife or something...

Ringless Kyle will just get up and beat the sh_t out of him.

Did Kyle infuse his will into Hal's ring before Hal himself returned? That was unclear to me. If so, I could see a ring merged with the wills of Hal AND Kyle overpowering Zod... If not, I could still see Hal alone legit beating Zod(cuz God-Will), but it's much more unlikely based on what we've seen thus far.

I think some sort of f*cked up accord will happen that allows Zod to retain his status on that world. /shrug

I think it’s more likely that GLC will understand that thy need to leave Zod alone. I think they will just accept that Zod is being worshipped there despite his past crime

Me too. Surprisingly Venom and Carnage have beaten almost every herald from Thor, Surfer, Hulk and Juggernaut.

When did Venom or Carnage beat Hulk?

So true.

If there is ever a crossover between Wonder Woman and Hulk and they somehow outshine Superman and co., Carver will be found dead in a puddle of his own semen.

I got the vibe that Hal is going to accomplish some really stupid shit next issue. I suspect at the minimum a stalemate or at the worst Hal beats the shit out of him.

Then something will be said that makes Hal "understand" and they'll leave him alone. It's really the only way the arc is ending nice and tidy. Or the kid is crying for Zod and Hal is like "maybe I was the monster all along"

Of course they could capture him, but that never works. Same as Zod just beating the shit out of him... though that could work if he granted them passage to leave afterwards.

@Phil

It's MaNgog. Magog is DC 😛

It's 2018. MANgog is offensive. It's Peoplegog.

Canadians like King Mungi know the best.

XheGog is what I prefer

The people will speak about how amazing Zod their God is.

'who are we to force our ideals on others?' Guy will wonder philosophically. 'Have we the GLC become the very monsters we swore to fight?' will also be bandied around. 'What are we doing here ' etc etc.

Or equally likely Zod beats them all and becomes Parallax 👆

Hal can always detonate a supernova.

You're making your debut in Supergirl, I take it.

I am shocked that isn't from Marvel.

Also I still have no ****ing idea what non binary means in regards to gender. It'd be like me calling my arms non armery. They don't fit into the arms class, I might have all the arm qualities, but I think calling them arms assumes too much.

Speaking of that, meet "Lee Serrano"... DC's first 'non-binary' character:

....facepalm
