5 issues later it turned a star turned supernova hurtling through space back into a comet (mind you it was the power of the hammer). 1 issue later it withstood the heat from Phoenix, of which Jane could feel from galaxies away.
It would certainly be bullshit if the hammer were destroyed by the sun, even in Aaron's own run and ever since his retcon, let's not kid ourselves.
However Aaron foreshadowed this so it might actually happen.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens

Mjlonir's origin was re-established (not too much has changed), I don't see why we can't accept that there is a new established power level

I want to make it clear, I don't think Mjolnir is "dead". It's more likely that the mother storm and the Uru Metal survived but the craftmanship is broken.. if that makes any sense 😄

Gotcha. Can you provide a scan of current Superman surviving in the sun. His entire origin has been changed and he has been out for a bit, so you have plenty of comics to use as evidence.

And even 90s Superman has gone into the core of the sun while being powerless and emerged at full power.
