"Back to basics"

Yeah, title sounds good.

Poor Wonder Woman, smh:

Captain America vs. Super Soldier:

Confirmed superhuman strength.

Wonder Woman being downed by a bullet ricochet is just stupid. I mean, wtf.

Batman should update his anti-JLA tactics on WW.

"Update on how to stop Wonder Woman: Have Robin yell "surprise!!" then shoot her in the neck."

The current writer is trying way too hard to ground the heroes. I'm all for it to a point, but now it just looks ridiculous and out of place.

Reading that JL 42 today was painful.

Chrissy-P hates the superpowers.
He said that Deathstroke or Cap could split Batman's head open with a punch because they are enhanced and he's a human.

Bucky stays in his Winter Soldier outfit in MCU.

You haven't seen the Infinity War trailers (plural), lol?

Yes I saw them. I was thing after Infinity War or Black Panther 2.

If the current comics are somewhat supposed to follow the movies, I hope we get Luke Cage and Iron Fist in the Movies just like the scans above. We all know Captain Marvel is in Avengers 4.

Thanos (1/2):

Casually resisting the Hunger from overtaking him...and then destroying it outright...is a pretty uber feat for Thanos, tbh.

This is Thanos from 2127 AD though.

Yes, a hundred years older is the game changing asterisk for Starlin's Thanos.

Those scans were interesting. Thanos resisting Hunger like that is pretty ridiculous. Hunger absorbed realities successfully. I prefer Starlin's Thanos. He is incredibly powerful but potentially into the far future is when he will ascend into his place in the cosmic landscape. Somewhere between Abstract concepts (Love/Hate/Death) and Cosmic Powes (Galactus/Odin/Celestials).

Starlin respects hierarchies. Thanos is powerful enough to actually challenge beings like Odin and Galactus, but it's done in a respectful way. As respectful as Starlin can get. Thanos is written as sensible while everyone else is an idiot.

Considering Hunger killed Thanos in future where he was stated to be more powerful with age, yes it is.

This wasn't full power Hunger though. It was before Hunger got to assilimate the aliens.

When Hunger assimilated planets and stars, it killed the future Death-Thanos.

^Kill =/= Absorb. Even in a weakened form, he could influence Galactus. There seem to be no limit to his hunger. That's the impressive part. I don't even like Thanos. Why are you making me restate the obvious?

I'm going to have you quickly re-read this post and your previous post, and hopefully you'll understand why you went from a non-point to a positive feedback loop of stupidity.

Thanos grows more powerful with age, so that's why he was able to resist hunger at the moment. But to support your logic, you're pointing to Hunger defeating a far older Thanos?

1) You're an idiot.
2) He didn't beat Hunger because he had another century under his belt. He beat Hunger because he's Thanos and doesn't lose, Thanos is supreme. The only one who can defeat Thanos, is Thanos. It's been a running theme in Starlin's book for a few decades now.
3) From my reading, he successfully killed an older cosmic Thanos in a fight after absorbing most of reality. Here he tried to CONSUME Thanos. Ultimately a fatal error.

This is my last post on the topic. You should make a separate thread if you want to discuss this further.

Even Starlin respect power levels. Hunger was in a diminished state after Galactus debacle, then he absorbed Ghost who was a teleporting alien and from there it grew more powerful gradually to the point it killed a future Death-Thanos.

So older Thanos of 2127 killed Hunger before it assimilated Ghost. He killed it in its weakened state. It's a great feat but hardly unprecedented.

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Also nukes did the damage, eh bran?

Never fails to make me laugh. Universal Galactus right there.

Superman taking the same attack.

😂

Why are you putting more effort into this than your judging Rage? I assume we'll have another week delay for your two sentence judgement. 😛
