Further confirmation that Odin is depleted, but I'm not sure why he doesn't just have his Odin-Sleep? Curious how the battle went off-panel with the Celestial.

Loki being able to resurrect and control a Celestial of the Final Host is impressive. He seems to be REALLY out of character there though. He's acting like a Jokerized version of his old self. Weird...but Aaron isn't great about consistency.

That's the third time since Avengers #1 he's shown Odin wielding and controlling Mjolnir in a flashback...but in the Thor run, Odin had trouble controlling Mjolnir after trapping the Mother Storm in the Uru and seemed to have created it right before Thor's birth. Which is very different from the recent Avengers comic where he's seemed to have been wielding Mjolnir for a long time even before the 1 million BC mark. Which makes no sense based on the origin story Aaron told previously....

Also, Aaron and Remender established Odin creating a spell to kill Celestials that Thor used on his axe. Just hand that out to a few heroes, and boom, crisis averted.

No clue how they managed to beat the First Host, stupid AF. Odin and Phoenix can be stretched to be as powerful as Celestials. MAYBE Agamatto and Starbrand can get ones attention. Panther, Fist and the Rider are window dressing.

Because it's young loki who's been sped aged by wiccan. it's consistent

The 1M AD Team looks pretty cool. Never though that Starbrand would create a Hulk but still.

My favorite part is that Rage still thinks Odin might be a Celestial level when they just made a huge deal over one of the most powerful teams in Marvel history killing one.

I'm sure Aaron is going to do something beyond retarded, but as of now based on everything we currently know? No chance.

A weakened celestial that is.

What do you mean? Loki has evolved much since the Young Avengers and came into the current Marvel Multiverse as a young adult with a positive mindset after escaping the destruction of the Universe.

1+1 = Fish?

That was me trying to figure out how they would justify them flying guns blazing at 5 Celestials and managed to survive....because as you said, just beating one was a big deal. I called it idiotic.

Do you think that even the proposition that Odin would be scaled up to fight a Celestial equally is ridiculous in a continuity where Thor has an Odin-enchanted axe in his closet that can one-shot Exitar or Loki just resurrected and is controlling a Celestial?

Maybe Odin threatened to throw the First Host into the Sun.

"I wonder how 2 Thanoses and 5 Thors can beat 10 Celestials? One Thanos on its own could be stretched to say it could stalemate a Celestial, but 10 of them? And he has useless teammates like Thor? That's just a numbers advantage at that stage."

I was only speaking about them beating the 10 Celestials, not individual matches!

Also yes. The axe is not Odin's own power however much blood magic he knows. Odin being equal to a Celestial would be the worst writing Aaron has ever done. I would rather see Iron Man beating Celestials than something as Lucacris Bridges as that.

I bet the stupidity of this Celestial killing axe rests on Remender's shoulders.
Aaron was probably forced to go along with it.

Wutevers. there's been things just as bad if not worse.

Remender made the celestial killing axe but he had most of his shit in order.

It was a collaboration between Remender and Aaron, which is why I mentioned it.

Soooo you would rather what, cave-man Iron Fist and Black Panther take down Celestials by sweeping the legs and biting their ankles than Odin and Phoenix being able to take one down individually?

You're being as emotional as a post OP tranny hopped up on Estrogen RN bran. I never said Odin = Celestials in power. I explicility called the concept of that team beating an entire host STUPID AF.

You have no argument here, or any gripe. You're irritated that I even implied that Odin would ever be written to equal one it seems, which is some Carver lite.

Haha he just had young Loki resurrect and control Celestial. Prepare thy anus for stupidity.

Probably a collabo on young Thor using an axe pre hammer, but Remender went full retard on it for his stories. Lazy....

Let's just say you have a history where your implications are less of an implication and more of a want.

I can predict the future if they beat the 1st Host:

"That was so stupid but and I don't agree with it at all but honestly you have to give that feat more to Odin and Phoenix than the rest of the team. I hate that it happened but it's a shamefully great Odin feat. Honestly Phoenix probably didn't do anything either."

You're practically salivating my biological son. Look at you already buttering up to it with "Boy Howdy I wonder how that Odin/Celestial fight happened" and "Boy Howdy weaker Asgardians are rezzing Celestials"

How is this any different than Thor #300? Odin and his ilk were inexplicably powered down and so much of Asgardian history and lore was retconned for no other reason then integrating Celestials into the Marvel Universe and stream lining the pantheons. Suddenly everything was in preparation for the Celestials, all previous history was ignored and Odin and his kind were born out of the consciousness of humans, Thor and Asgard were suddenly 2000 years old and all their memories were implanted as Odin created Asgardians fully grown.

People are complaining about an axe when we had that shit thrown at us in the past? GTFO.

I hope in a future issue, it's revealed that the Celestial Races was randomly, and for no apparent reason created by Buri and Odin goes around one shotting hundreds of them. Then if people ***** and moan, I'd understand.

Judging by previous Celestial Hosts, it might not even be a real fight. But you're already all in on "how stupid" it is if they win. You're a window with windex Rage.

Aaron though so who knows. Something really dumb is going to happen and I can't predict what. All I know is based on what he's revealed so far, even 2 Celestials is way too much.

Not sure why we didn't see zeus and other asgardians 1m years ago , considering they alegedly predate Asgardians

Yup, Marvel 'storytelling' is a clusterphuck now. It's pointless trying to understand it.

This is so accurate, I think he's your sock. Or at the very least, the used condom.

Biological son. I taught him everything he knows and then I released him into the wild. He's the hoser from my hose.

I’m saying This is how he acts pretty much, yea he’s evolved but he’s still “young loki” in a way the way he acts here is pretty consistent to post rebirth Loki
