But yeah Gotham is abominable trash, same for Legends of tomorrow and Flash.
You could make a really strong argument for Gotham being the best DC show on TV (live action anyway). Even with how bad Gordon and Thompkins have been portrayed, there's still four or five really good characters that make the show a cut above.

That panel is a great example of that. It's pretty telling, because it's done by the same artist, who shows that he knows how to actually draw attractive women. It's a conscious decision to take away all of the traits and features the general population usually assigns with female beauty: long hair, full lips, good-sized breasts and a low neckline.
They even go one step further and establish the lady on the left (who is an actress portraying Captain Marvel) as an airhead bimbo, while Carl Manv... Carol Danvers on the right is the one, who... and let's be honest here again... doesn't appeal to the bigger audience. Females don't want to look like her and males don't want to read comics about her. No one can identify with her other than a group of people with certain politics and views on the world.

They really have changed a lot of how the character has been established in previous incarnations. She looks a lot slimmer in those scans, which gives her a weird bodily shape that doesn't scream healthy either. Facial traits are also sharper for no particular reason. I guess you could argue she's not dude looking, but she certainly looks very different than she used to. At the very least they aged her a bit.
I don't really care what females look like in comics, but it's pretty ****ing weird how much they changed her to looking nothing like what she used to. Heimdall turned mocha and he still looks more like himself than she does.
Even the 90's sex offender outfits are less drastic and don't change the looks as much as that. And then when you have shit like those 2 issues of A-Force where every panel is actually a man's face...
You don't want the hooker outfit, that's fine, but holy shit did they go overboard. Might as well have made a new character.
