Character Ownage

Aaron somehow made both Thor and Juggernaut look bad in one issue.

😂

I mean Thor literally said he was going to die falling on a few spikes.

Thor's piercing durability is legendary.

How bad is that showing (for Juggy) in comparison to the earlier stuff?

Aaron's bitterness from fan backlash will be taken on Thor it seems.

I see Jason Aaron has been reading some Silver Age Thor issues and not just the "I take Celestials" ones 👆

Not as good as Deadpool showing but he easily overpowered Thor and only lost a tooth by Thor hitting him with a new hammer. But he was stated sbd shown to be stronger than ever.

So pretty bad all in all.

I see... thanks.

Thor vs Juggernaut. One page of fighting with Namor too which wasn't shown sadly.

Thor blooded juggs. Insane striking feat

I think Aaron is officially the most inconsistent writer. At the beginning of his run the idea of him suggesting Thor would have died from falling on spikes would have been laughable. This is the guy who wrote Thor shrugging off having his liver turned to glass, and being skewered to shit by Gorr.

You're overthinking it. It's for dramatic affect.

It's still phucking stupid, do something that makes sense, even if it's just for dramatics.

Think of them as magic Cytorrak spikes. I had some issues with that sequence, but it was a lot better than I thought and was very fair.

I thought the fight seemed pretty fair, I just think it's so weird how much of a 180 he's done since the beginning of his run.

Thor is officially two tiers below Deadpool now.

He wrote himself into a corner. Now he's trying to work on going from the confident, easily stomping Thor as seen in his first half and continued in Jane into a more conflicted, slightly less confident Thor who's working his way up to his old self and past.

At least I think that is what he's trying. Jason isn't nuanced enough for this however.

I loved his AvX Thor 🙂

It was funny reading his interviews and how shocked he was at Thor's power after reading his books to prep for his solo run.

Writers plug in characters they literally have no clue about in crossovers, makes so much sense.
