I thought this was a good showing. He treated Thor like Hulk treats the Thing, without the hammers. Getting hit by all those hammers and then again by Thor, while not a godblast, is pretty decent.

A sufficiently powerful portrayal of the Odin Force would've been able to will the Universe back into fertility, but Aaron writes a more grounded Skyfather (Planetary to Multi-Galactic but Universal).

How do you write someone planetary but universal?

So looking at Metal, No Justice, Multiversity, and The Button, I guess after the New 52 failed on stories designed for Trust Fund Babies and anti authority teens, they decided to go with nonsensical Morrison like stories.

They just keep throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, don't they.

DC is a mix of different imprints. Most are good like WS, Young Animal (another Morrison type of books), Dark Metal, etc... A bunch of those titles you mentioned are really good. Even Bendis's MOS is surprisingly good.
