Jaysus. But yeah, we talked about this a while back didn't we? About how the X-Men are probably the worst in comics when it comes to writers understanding their powers? Almost all of them suffer for it unless their power is deceptively simple.

They are, but other characters sure don't have it easy, either...

Look at Thor and his vulnerability to electrical attacks... Wrecker and his crowbar... or even Captain America and his SSS deal.

All because Marvel (and DC) doesn't bother to hire actual fans of this stuff as editors. Being a comic book editor in US apparently means you get paid for nothing, I swear.

Oh, that's true. I just found it to be always more common with the X-Men given that there are so many of them in a single issue of the comic book.

That, and I tended to read more X-Men than anything else.

Yeah, plenty of things can go wrong when there's a new writer forced to write an entire team of mutants.

Some things they get right. Like Ellis remembering that Logan doesn't need an active X-gene to pop his claws, for example. But he forgot/didn't realize that HF offers no pain tolerance extras.

👆, though it's always funny when they draw the blasts with white cores. Do they not get that he has to be able to see through those blasts?

Or when powers that characters had at one point just seem to get forgotten rather than simply phased out. Like Nightcrawler's shadow thing.

I hope that Wolverine will be at the top again.

Even on his wedding day, Marvel treats him like shit. TBH, I'm not even surprised.

Shadowc*nt ftw.

He's Russian. He'll be Marvel's punching bag for the next 3-7 years.

****, I hadn't thought of that. It was bad enough he was white and straight, but he's also a dirty russkie too.

Nice to see Illyana yet again ****ing up his life. It's as regular as a ****ing bowel movement under a high fibre diet.

Did that really just happen? What's Kitty's deal?

They've been making her more and more of a ***** for a while now, so I'm guessing this is just the culmination of it.

Especially seeing as SHE ****ING PROPOSED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

They've been building up to this since she became Professor. The sad part about it is...was that SHE PROPOSED! Now Piotr is standing there by her side still. It's pathetic

Yup. They write him as the big dumb fool rather than the original intent, which was to make him the literal opposite of that.

It's such a shame that there's no chance Cyclops will be able to call her out on her shit, no matter how badly she's performed once he comes back.

O yea scott...almost forgot

Jesus christ that was terrible

Worse than the treatment he got from ellis during excalibur

And the sad thing is, that miniseries actually started off all right, if a bit silly.
