Eastern games are better than Western games anyway. They often have more mechanical depth and aren't just cinematic chasing hollywood-lite games that are casualized with barely any depth to their controls. Shit like Uncharted where the game partially plays itself for you; where you think you are doing these cool punching combos when you are pressing the punch button, but its really just scripted punching animations that are canned and you have no real control of. You'll just do cool shit automatically without ever actually having to mechanically try to do it deliberately.
You can safely avoid games from any 'WOKE' western developers like Naughty Dog, EA, Activision, and Ubisoft.
Anita Sarkeesian also despises Nintendo because they don't give a damn about her and don't cater to her, so getting a Nintendo Switch is also a great option for games.

The only Western game I've played this generation with Japanese tier gameplay was God of War. The combo videos for the game are out of this world.
Every other Western game has very basic, slightly guided controls with shallow mechanical depth. Assassin's Creed is the perfect example.
Nioh's gameplay depth >>>>> 99% of Western created games.
The Switch is great. I have a PS4 Pro and a Switch, and the Switch is more fun.

Switch and PS4 are both poop sandwiches. Only necessary if you absolutely must play some of their exclusives. A solid gaming PC destroys either. 👆
And Nioh is good as far as Dark Souls clones go, but it isn't as good as Salt and Sanctuary or Hollow Knight (the latter is not really a Dark Souls clone but gets lumped into that category).

Lol @ low budget 2d indie games like Salt & Sanctuary holding a candle to Nioh's combat. Subjectively aside I don't even see how you could compare such apples and oranges.
And Nioh is not an Dark Souls clone. It's like a more methodical Ninja Gaiden, being made by the same devs, and of course, has far, far more technical aspects and mechanics to it than Dark Souls' simplistic (but still good) combat.
PC gaming is a waste of money quite frankly. Massive potential but the audience is so small that it gets next to no exclusives that actually make use of the powerful hardware out there. So you get 99% of the same games as console with bumps to IQ and framerate, which just isn't going to give you the big jump you want vs a tailored experience.
I prefer consoles because they actually have reasons to own them: Exclusives.
I am completely against pirating games and movies.
I've said this before but as a proud capitalist I support the things I like with money.
Emulation and modding are other reasons to own a gaming PC, but I'm past that phase in my life, and quite, frankly, just like writing fan fiction, emulation and modding are for phucking dweebs.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
