Supes is fighting Manhattan in november. Finally.

I doubt there'll be a 'fight' in the traditional sense. Manhattan is being touted as a Supreme Being analogue more powerful than even Mxy, ffs. Superman standing any sort of chance against a being like that in an actual fight would be laughably retarded(even if someone like Morrison were writing this.)

And I fully expect that they'll only meet one another at the very end of issue #8. The rest of their encounter won't happen until the following issue(s).

Lol, Superman is no Batman. DC has really shit the bed with his brand in the last few years. His symbol was almost as well recognized as the Cross. You have to be supremely incompetent to not make money with that type of marketing power.

Superman hasn't sold for quite a while. Being well known as his symbol does not equal sales.
