Zack is only about big feats. DC said to him "Only relay the best of the best." A character like Prime makes his job a lot easier to say the least.
Writing is secondary. Big stuff going on is what counts.

To be fair Bendis doesn't understand how dialogue works either.

He treats it like an alternate dimension...completely against the core concept. It’s a hellish prison because you are a phantom, timeless, unfeeling, who cannot live or die. It’s like a formless purgatory. That’s why putting Mon-El in there was such a tough choice. Smh.
