I actually think Morrison got most of it right when it came to what happened with Logan, Jean, Scott and Emma. Logan and Jean are never going to work long term, Scott and Jean had, to be fair, grown apart since he'd come back after Apocalypse. And, Jean had plenty of her own shit going on too, meaning that they couldn't, or wouldn't, be the partner the other needed them to be. Putting Scott with Emma worked because they were both the same kind of people, and then Bendis had to go and **** it all up.
I do think they could write a reconciliation between Scott and Jean, but it would need a writer that actually knows how to write adult relationships well and frankly, I don't think there are very many of those at all. They do have a good, strong history, and even after all that happened, I would imagine there's still some compatibility there. But again, the writers...
