to be fair, Thor didnt use lightning on Knull, He used it on Grendal. Thor thought he could take Knull by melee and it was working until he turned his back and got stabbed by "All-black.

All symbiote aside from a few went back to him, He literally was collecting pieces of grendal, To think all black isn't back in his possession is odd considering no one knows where it is since Gorr.
