How many different ways can someone punch, after all? After a while, some of them would be so incredibly niche that general fighting wouldn't use it.

Batman fought Karate Kid evenly in zero G combat, who himself fights flashes and daxamites.

Yeah I like Snake Eyes but DS is right.

Counting number of styles is a lame way to determine skill.

It means nothing. You really only need like, 5, maybe.

Batman probably learnt a style that's only useful against bears underwater or some shit like that.

But generally all he needs is striking and grappling. And then after that, the human body can only move so many ways.
