If we go down that route, then Marvel Universe is full of eternally young, immortal beings.

The sliding timescale/floating timeline in comics works in mysterious ways and has no clearly defined rules. There are also books implying that 10 years in the MU = 1 year irl.

In the end, it works however writers need it to.
