1) Superman was stopping Majestic's punches when Spartan ambushing him while BA was completely free of his hands in that scene
2) BA was shown to be fighting(with multiple pages) in that scene while this showing you posted wasn't
And then you claimed they are equals in strength and based it on the strain in the voice....but in the very same scan you posted Spartan was the guy who was making "nnngh" "unnngh" sound
So, if we judge who is stronger in that showing just based on the strain who's making, then it's Spartan who is shown to be losing/who is weaker in terms of strength

And Spartan's words not only was spaced out, but also had words that indicate he was pushing himself while Superman wasn't. So again, if you want to use sounds they made as a proof for their strength comparison, then Spartan was clearly on the disadvantage here/Spartan < Superman in terms of strength
