No. Not 1257 anyway. He overloaded him with those distress calls. Sentry just couldn't choose where to go and who he should save. Clock was always doing that for him.

Did those 1257 die in a single accident? We can't be sure, maybe that was a total amount of something - Cloc was spamming like crazy. Also we don't know if he'd be just saving them or the others, Reynolds can't do all things at once.
If IM didn't hack Cloc, Sentry would be still wasting his time fighting him... so those 1257 would die anyway...
What's really disturbing is Stark's last command...
