What i fun funny is both times. This happen Thor never tries to resist Hulk or Rulk. We seen Thor match Hulk in strength before but from some reason we you grab his hand while holding Mjolnir He seems to just hold on and wait to get hit by it.
I wonder if there will be a 2nd issue where Thor get up and finds Hulk beating down Rulk and then decided to beat the hell out of hulk.
Also note that just like the Rulk fight hulk got smashed in the face then decided to grab Thor hand and beat him down with it hmmmm next time mjolnir breakers he should reforged it into a sword so this doesn't happen. 😂

the problem with Thor resisting HammerFace against Rulk/Hulk might be that Thor was in shock at the fact of having Mjolnir used against him. and then dazed as a result of HammerFace.
also, I suspect Savage Hulk was amped a little as a result of his fight with the Wrecking Crew and then Thor cheap-shotting him with the lightning... making his strength advantage over Thor immediately decisive rather than something that emerges over the course of a drawn out battle.
I think Hulk is going to continue to have decisive victories against Thor, imo there's an underlying developmental reason for it.
firstly, in Nightmare Island, Hulk states that his previous Savage Hulk persona and powers were merely infant steps in his learning and development... it was because his Banner aspect was coming to terms with his Hulk aspect.
this is developed in Planet Hulk, where it basically showed that Hulk has a lot in reserve, that the Banner-aspect acts as a restraint on Hulk's power at all times.
that then gets developed in WWH as we see how it operates and how it eventually stops Hulk from getting too powerful for the world to cope with (WorldBreaker Hulk).
as if to illustrate just how much power is left in the tank at all times, you have the whole Rulk thing. the Red Hulk(s) all come from the power of Hulk iirc, they all have some of his Gamma energies yet... I think the Leader and M.O.D.O.K. developed tech to do the siphoning as Stark's satellites (and the other S.H.I.E.L.D. satellites) weighed in and Banner's desperate inner struggle to hold back Hulk reached near melting point.
so, imo ... they're not only letting Hulk loose a little more, but they're fleshing out the past and giving it a stronger coherence...
hopefully no more shit "Hulk hate Banner!" and "I want to rid myself of Hulk" stuff in the future for the character...

^ Thor being shocked at having Mjolnir being used against him or even being stopped/held by someone, is an inimitable part of his character, e.g., robots, Destroyer, Airwalker, Zeus, Bor, Rulk, and now Hulk.
that fight was stupid as shit though, thor is always a physical threat to classic hulk, and to have thor getting dazed by mjolnir being smashed against his face from 2 feet (approx) from his face is just ass. what was wrong with thor's arm, it just stopped working or something?
classic hulk would never be able to beat thor like that, this is just another example of current writers not taking into account the well documented confrontations/depictions of classic characters.
imo, that fight could be lumped in with the uatu incident, it's a distant second but bad nonetheless.
