Claremont is the main culprit when it comes to boosting peoples (Especially female) powers to the point where they can jump a cosmic entity. In some cases he forgets to boost there powers so the scene looks ridiculous.

A Claremont story consists of:

Mind Control
Claramazons
Lesbian Fetishes.
Terrible dialogue.

Would be great. All the big writers claim they love her, Bendis and Fractions love for her has absolutely destroyed the character. Morrisons pet character will always have a place in the X-Men.

Oh, I'm well aware of Claremont's work. I just think Thor's feminine enough that Claremont may give him a pass. Of course he'll never stand a chance if there's an almighty vagina to fight. Remember Rogue?

And you just described all of Claremont's work. Including that one Thor annual he did.

Fraction hasn't been all to great on the X-men. Let him focus on Thor and pass on the X-men to someone else.

If his Thor run is a let down, I'll really be pissed.

It was actually pretty good. Layton should do a similar one in the 616 with it being the Silver Surfer.

You'd think the Herald's of Galactus would have learned not to engage pissed off Gods at this point.

a cosmic vs god concept in marvel would be great depending the writer...

Personally, I want to see Thor stomp Surfer some time soon. Or at least some type of big win. Bring back Morg, amp him to twice his original power levels, and have Thor beat the shit out of him. I'd be happy with that for a while. If your reading this Fraction, make this happen pronto.

The Hulk's going to outperform Galactus in the next Pak written event "Chaos War".

nah... that would be too much even for a Thor fan like me...I'd like him to fight Surfer in an epic fight and win. As for the stomp I'd like it to happen in a hulk fight but with Pak writing Chaos War I don't have high hopes

I want it to happen just so I can rub it in the face of the Surfer camp. Seriously though, I want to see an epic throw down between the powerhouses of the MU. A real fight. Not some Bendis written crap where we get a few pages of random disjointed scraps.

Thor's going to get embarrassed in the Hulk issue coming out next month. Worldbreaker is back.

that's the issue though...Surfer has all the powers to do well against thor unlike hulk...hulk wins couse "he iz da strongest der iz!!!!!!" BS

Current Marvel sucks. The editorial staff barely does anything apparently.

Thor went from being stronger than the Hulk, to being as strong as him, to being as powerful as him, and finally he just become flat out inferior if we follow the natural progression through all media.

I can understand Hulk having less scenes where his inferior because his entire shtick is that his stronger than everyone else. In the end, that's the core element of all Hulk related stories. But shit like that Hulk one shot pisses me off a bit.

The Hulked out Heroes first issue is coming out today. Hulk Thor takes on Hulk Spidey. The preview looks fun. It's done by Gillen so I'm hopeful.

The opportunity is horribly wasted off course as Loebs turned them into nothing but Savage Hulk versions of themselves. Gamma Rays don't work like that. Banner becomes the Savage Hulk specifically due to his own mental issues.

Yup Skaar is gonna somehow do a thousand times better then Thor will
