He's a human, no powers, not even especially impressive physically (Joker is no blue chip physically) he's allowed a moment of weakness.

Unfortunately the Dark Knight propagated this belief in the Internet that the Joker must be some ultimate mastermind who's utterly impervious to any kind of logical push or pull factor and who never gets frustrated and was never once a human being.

I think TAS Joker is as good or better an interpretation as Ledgers was, much more true to the character's roots.

Not wanting to die =/= being afraid of pain
He is not affraid of death either. He thinks it's funny. Even if he's the one who's going to die.

His damage soak is almost superhuman though. The guy lived through more crap than Bullseye. I remember a recent book where he was taking a long beating from Supergirl (who was almost bloodlusted) and he was laughing like he's having the time of his life.

Did you read the whole comic? No bashing, just wondering.

Joker inter-go another personality change or that what he stated, when realize the real Batman has die. He could be lying/acting to get Batman/Robin to trust him or it was result of bad writing.

Not yet. If that's the case I take back what I said. It's just he's acting completely out of character. It makes sense if he's pretending or lying.

That's exacty why Heath Ledger's Joker >>> TAS and comix Joker. "help"? Seriously? As in "dont hit me im affraid of pain" kind of way? Some writers should to do some research before they're allowed to get their hands on the characteres.
This is exactly why you have to read the issue before commenting on it. 🙂

Fair enough. 😮 It's just the scan was out of context and it upset me when I saw him acting like that.

According to some of his origins he was never a "human being" but was always a monster. "The killing joke" was well written but overall a stupid idea. "sorry, it's too late for me now?" Because we all know that Joker regrets that he's a psychotic mass murderer and secretly wishes he could be a good guy? Really? 🤨 It's just there are fans that cant accept a character that doesnt have a sad story behind him even if it doesnt make sense. Some characters don't need to be shown as poor unfortunate victims, they're just bad and like it that way. The Dark Knight simply took the best out of comix - Joker is smart, brutal and is willing to die for what he believes in. That's how he's often written in the comix. In fact he's a lot like he was in his very first appearance.

TAS Joker on his knees was begging some fat guy to spare his life.😬

I remember that comic 🙂

Oh yeah there were some funny moments in the comics, like the super cum that destroyed an airplanes wing.

Just to rub it in more, but Hope broke a barrier that Thor couldn't.
How much did Thing, Ironman and Thor weaken the dome? It's kind of unclear to me:

Is it down to 13.4% by that blow or only down 13.4% since the last time they took a reading?

When Batman threw Joker into the Lazarus pits to keep him from dying (a retarded moment for Batman btw) the temporary maddening effect of the pit was actually reversed on Joker, driving him sane for a moment. During this time he actually expressed remorse for his crimes. If he had always been a sociopath then he wouldn't even have the capacity for such remorse.

^😂 I was thinking about reading it, but chabged my mind now...

Could be his "super sanity" mixed with the pit effect talking. The thing is, some of Joker's stories controdict others. Sometimes he outright admits that he's crazy, and in other stories says that everybody else is crazy and he's the only sane person.

I hear you. Interprations like DK are fine as long as we remember that you know... the guy is human and should be ultimately a human psycho, not some demon (hell even demons have their fears and weaknesses).

Again, his non fear of death cannot be absolute, seeing that he is mortal. Even among those with no fear for the concept of death (not unusual) there is always some doubt, reluctance, uncertainty about unbeing or simply no longer being alive (something we all get very used to).

thor had been knocking at the barrier for hours, and had gotten it to 13 % with the things help, Hope didn't have that much left to take out.
