yea i agree...seemed like he was in complete control the whole fight...not very WB like

he did have skaar dead to rights with that gammafacepalm early into the fight.

*shrugs*

I assumed he was in World Breaker mode since the last scenes of #610 up until the page where he tosses Skaar aside (Maybe a bit sooner when he landed) I also assumed he got back up there once he got riled up by Skaar again and went feral.

some of those spears went through his forehead (it looks that way), all through his head at that

Nah check again.

it wasn't sand, it was an old power attack. similar to how the sword hurt Hulk's hand at the begining.

I really liked this fight, they kept it contained and showed how both have an instinct for saving people from the excesses of their 'hulking out'.

Pretty sure that's sand.

What? That didn't make sense.

Fix it so it does, then get back to me.

It was sand.

it was held together by old power but it is still sand.

blood spurts all over his face at the same time as the attack + similar wounds on his face after the attack he suffered on his entire body = evidence of similar spear damage

actually you should check again...there were clear holes in his head

That wasn't WB Hulk, but that was an impressive fight. Hulk owned him! Awesome stuff.

Hulk wasn't WBH, this was far too controlled. he even tosses Skaar aside and says he doesn't want to fight him. also, he's clearly still pulling his punches as he saves people at the end.

How was that not World Breaker Hulk? Did you people not see the closing scenes of #610?

Clearly meant to herald his arrival.

He was just not up to the hype. And I don't understand how anyone could expect him to be.

He obviously calmed down -which meant a power down- when he tosses Skaar aside but goes feral again when he brings up Caiera and shit.

That's what I said. World Breaker -not World War Hulk- is overrated.

this should be discussed in the hulk forum

Clearly no spears.
I would think the face damage would come form being hit in the face repeatedly as we dont get to see the condition of his face before he is skwered
