He's not being fickle. Never once did Carver say during Thor's rougher spots (which, imo, aren't over yet so long as Pak remains), that he's no longer a Thor fan. All he said was truth; that writers can and do influence powerlevels greatly and that there is no arguing with their established status quo with past feats when all that matters is the now.I remember him lamenting but accepting that Thor was being written so weak, nothing more.

No he is being fickle. It wasn't more than a few weeks ago that I can recall Carver questioning whether Thor was still High Herald. Now he's pushing for Thor for Trans? Because of one ambiguous showing?
Carver's logic is flawless. You guy's should learn from him.

Even though you are trying to be funny this is exactly what I am saying. Its not one showing that is equating to me believing that thor is a beast, it will be next months showings... especially if he beats stranger and then turn around and beat ego afterwards.
Yeah, that would change my mind tremendously. I always considered thor a trans level being until his earlier showings this year but it seems like marvel is putting him right back where he belongs
And peeps, please don't act like thor hasn't taken it to trans or higher level beings before... this is consistent for him so I really do not see why you all are arguing against this.

Wonder Woman defeats and kills skyfathers all the time but that doesn't make her trans lol
Wonder Woman defeats skyfather under plot whereas thor physically does it under his own power. By the way, thor has taken it to beings higher than skyfathers. I'm not saying that I am completely right, I am just giving my opinion.

Referring to Ares and Queen of Fables maybe.
Diana casually killing Ares with an axe blow to the head is more of a shitty showing for Ares than it is a good showing for Diana. At the very least it proves Ares has shitty durability at base. Knocked Zeus on his ass too if I recall. Olympian Gods have been weak sauce lately. Didn't Granny Goodness conquer them during Final Crisis?
I don't remember what happened during the second story arc. I'm too lazy to dig.

We're talking about something completely different then.
I'm talking about remaining a fan of someone even during their low spots. In that sense, Carver is not fickle.

But I've never gotten the impression Carver was much of a Thor fan.
Why wouldn't I be a thor fan when in the past I said that he would pull a 8/10 against surfer, superman, and gladiator in a one on one battle. I love the character but when he was getting owned earlier I also admitted that the people above could probably take him.
