what issue is that from? I apologies, if that scan is in fact 616, which I belief it is, since it looks like x-men legacy art work, then I was 100% wrong. When and what was the explanation given for his powers now being capable of chargeing up organic matter? If you know the answer, that would be great if not, I see what I can digg up.
it is also possible that when sage restored his powers during x-treme x-men she triggered a change in his power level like she did to beast, though I can't quite recall that scene accurately. there is also the matter of his CIS, as using his powers that way would kill people who dont have ways to survive it like he knows shaw and daken do.
