ok, even if dumbledore did fake the death, which i hope he did, WHY DID HE DO IT?

and what about the portrait? dumbledore is sleeping in it when harry walks in the the HEADMISTRISS's office, maybe dumbledore is dead, but didnt want to discuss any of his reasons for dying (still planned with snape and snape is good) because harry NEEDS to go back to privet dr for the last time

Yeah some of u may be right, but as far as i can see is that Dumbledore did die too easily, if you think about it, most good guys like dumbledore never really go out without a bang!!
also i reckon that dumbledore could of died like he did because he planned it, maybe not with anyone else but with himself.

People, he's dead. He's in the portrait because all the dead headmistresses/masters go there. I hate the news too. But he's dead. Snape was on the bad side all along. We all should've known that... PM.

SNAPE IS GOOD! DD is dead. He wanted to die, or JKR wanted him to die, because he was holding Harry back (same a Sirius). His death means that Harry is gonna leave school, and gives him another motive to kill Voldie.

if he came back in the 7th book, it helps explain what harry is going to do, as dumbledore is the knowledge in the book, remember in the 6th book he was explaining all about voldie and all bout horcruxes, well if he wasnt there then we wouldnt understand a thing. so if dumbledore does come back it will help us.

yes it would help ,but th book would be so preditabl and since when has jk givin us a story when we know whats going to happen ,we like twists nin the story somethigs unpreddictable ....

a bit confused, if dumdore died in film no 4 then how can he explain stuff in book no.6
