Why does it have to be a cherry tree? There are much nicer trees and shrubs out there which might be more appropriate (unless this is somehow tied in to Oriental symbolism, they love their cherry blossoms in poetry.) And I mean surely if one had a number of branch like protrusions sprouting from the end of thing in question it would be far from nice, in fact it would probably be pretty painful and cause for concern.
Really I think God (if he exists and all that jazz) would be above this kind of thing, after all the idea of pervasion, and in the examples given voyeurism is the main type, is to find enjoyment in something that isn't perhaps normal, and/or acceptable, to be excited maybe, or aroused or addicted to something that is morally or socially taboo.
So why would God be interested? If he is so far above us I find it hard to believe he would get excited by such things. I mean, does he even have a body? What enjoyment would he get from such? It's a bit like the whole Jabba the Hutt question - he's a giant slug with no apparent genitalia, so why on earth would he like scantily clad humanoid women? Surely the culture and physical gap would be to much to surpass. Same with God, he is some unknown and unknowable force in and off everything, why by the patriarchs girdle, would he find enjoyment in watching someone go to the toilet?

Because that's kind of what I see the whole christian mythology as being representative of. God having toomuch time on his hands. So, what does he do? He creates all of us and then watches us as we run through the maze, trying to find the cheese. I figure that's why he decided to have a son, so that when he died, God would have someone to play cards with and bet on who was going to find the cheese first.

No he is not a pervert. He has, what I liked to call, Divine Innocence. You see this in little children and their candid personality. You see this in both man and woman who sat in the garden of eden. How they were to stand amongst one another in complete nakedness and have no ill thoughts towards the other. Perversion is looking upon something and thinking out side of what it was meant. God can not perform an evil, and fulls the purpose of things. Therefore God can't be perverted.
