it'd be interesting to see someone try and do a comic with proper physics (as far as it is applicable, ie, radioactive spiders =/= lymphoma)
As far as the theory, I'd say its fairly applicable just in the way that writers and artists must invision the fights. Its weird that we associate physical strength and stability as synonymous when, as mentioned above, there is no real reason for why spider-man shouldn't be able to knock the hulk around, aside from the aestetics.
