Sidious - The Debate

A word on this. The suggestion of suicide is worse than a set of insults, Traya. I recall this statement now, and you've suggested it to more people than just Lightsnake. This is likely to piss you off and rally the people at Dark Tower Forums, but if I see it, you'll be reported. And if (not saying they will) my old friends at Dark Tower Forums get angry because of this or whatever, they can simply rot in hell.

Suggesting suicide is sick.

Since when have I told that to anyone else? As as Glentract said, telling me to rot is as derogatory. Lightsnake wants me to either be the focus of a nasty fungal disease which would cause me harm, or he wants me to decompose, which would want me to die.

And I told you to rot....where?

You told me that in another thread.

I'm willing to stop with the personal insults, so long as you are.

Name the thread.

Yes, I'd love to see how you calculated this? any official statements or is it all made up? Any consideration to how all Sadow does is trigger a weapon on his ship? Everything points to that. The comic, the quote in the Chronology, the pictures in the comic, the dialogue....

Logic and math outweigh quotes.

Please find the logic and math inherent in lightsabers, sound in space, the Force...

You're applying your interpretation to the matter, you're trying to use your own logic and reasoning and the STORY ITSELF proves you wrong.

By the way, Glentract, I did apologize to you. You've been exceptionally nice to me even though we're on opposing view sides and I'd like to be able to talk to you congenially again.

Lightsaber are plasma magnetically contained. Sound in space is for the movie experince. The force is the zero point energy field found in our own universe.

There is no explanation, it's that simple. Things like that can't really exist. You're trying to apply logic and numbers to a fantasy/Sci Fi setting

They actually can. Go read "The Science of Star Wars" and you will see that every single thing in SW can be explained in our current understanding of science.

I just looked it up. It's an independent study and examination that has no impact of the Star Wars universe whatosever.

They also had a three different Discovery shows based off the book and they can't say for sure that these work and to say that they are absolutly based on these principles of ours is absurd.

I've never seen anything like that. It all makes sense in how they present it in the book.

Anyone can make things sound convincing in things like that. The fact remains: That book has no bearing on Star Wars

What do you mean? It shows that everything in SW is possible in our current understanding of the universe.

According to this author. There are a lot of Star Wars species that are totally impossible by our physics. and that book, like I said, is independent

What does it being independent have to do with it's credibility? There are many other scientist that helped with it.

You have to prove that the laws of physics don't apply in SW. What animals are totatlly impossible in our universe?

If one cannot argue science in Star wars and scientific method, one cannot argue reason by association, and all you have left is semantics and bullshit.

Glentract, go back and read my statements. I said if anyone has a problem with me telling Traya that I'd report her if she suggested suicide to anyone again, that then they can rot in hell. Don't confuse it. Kk? 😄

Hutts? The idea that anyone can survive wandering around in heavy robes on a desert planet with two suns? Maybe the Sarlaac? And according to another poster, other scientists DON'T agree with it

Scientist are divided on everything. Just because some don't agree doesn't mean it's not possible.

Hutts are completely possible. We have snakes that are as big as them, these are just shorter and fatter. For the Tuskans, heavy robes are helpful. Look at the Ancient Middle East. They all wore several layers of clothing because it forms air pockets that provide insulation against the heat. The Sarlacc is like venus flytraps with one mouth instead of three or four. I suggest you put logic and reason into your thoughts before you post them.

Escape, you're still telling people that they can rot in hell if they have a problem with. That means that if they do, even if they don't right now, that you are willing to tell them to do that. It means the same thing to me.
