I pretty sure it is a powered down Colossus. There are a few more pages that go along with that scan in another preview, Colossus is basically dropped off by a flyer and he lands in front of some Avengers, then all of a sudden he is hit from behind by Rulk. Pete never had the helmet on in any of the scans.
That being said, I hope Juggerlossus upstaged Rulk, but that qoute doesn't give me any hope despite the above I posted.

I hope not. It wouldn't make sense either. One of Kieron's main themes is Colossus slowly falling into the darkside. It really wouldn't make any sense to take him out at the start of the avx.
If he does lose he probably will be in classic colossus mode or a depowered jugs version. Then he starts to lose it and creates serious problems for the Avengers (and the x-men possibly) later on.
He is the x-men's only brick that has the powerset to hang with the Avenger's heavy hitter's (rulk, hulk,) I doubt that he will get taken out so early in the story. Magik's role in all of this is has me curious as well...the two demonic siblings seem to be holding back their true power for fear of falling into the dark side. (magik has a bomb strapped to her body to control her) I wonder what Magiks plans are for her brother. She can be a big schemer sometimes.
