Like in the good old days, huh?

Yes. Like in the IH issue where Hulk and Juggs met for the 1st time. They had a short team up and tore up the military, then fought each other. Despite Hulk's popularity helping him claim the win, in a strange way, the overall issue was good. When he fought Thor and the New Warriors was also pretty good, and his bar fight with Colossus was a good story. There are a few earlier X-men issues where the story is also decent. And despite it being his first few issues of being depowered, he did have a decent fight with some of the X-men, charging down Iceman before they realized what was going on. Sure he isn't KOing fish with the shockwaves from his punches, but overall, it was a good read.

Can't say I liked the issue. I hate the "demon" form and I hate that he got punched in the face into submission, even if that is what he wanted. I remember reading somewhere that the Juggernaut powers are stacked on top of his, I'm just gonna claim BS on that. I usually try to support Juggernaut, even when he was weakened, but this... I don't know. Its not the character I originally liked. I don't mind that it is currently Pete or that he was injured in FI, but the way it's written is piss poor. At least in FI after he sustained injuries, he kept going as if they didn't effect him or even slow him down. That being said, I do now hope Cain gets the power back and whoops some ass.
I think he was depowering when Rulk kayoed him.

I hope that is the case. But usually, if it isn't flat out stated or shown, some people won't take it as that. I'm just not liking the demon form though. Does anyone like this concept?

Well he clearly didn't look like he did in previous panels so it's pretty clear he was depowering.

You must not be familiar with Greg Land. J/K, you're right though.

When Rulk beat him, he was powered down. Removing his helmet is indicative of him not being Juggernaut anymore, and it was clear that he was in his "Colossus" mode. This was evidenced by his thoughts not being solely about killing and destroying everyone, and him wanting Rulk to win. No helmet = Colossus, Helmet = Juggernaut, Spikes = Demon Juggernaut.

Plus his eyes were metal and were not glowing.

Yeah, Colossus was powered down during the end...pretty obvious. I like the Cytorrak Colossus, looks like Doomsday but looks even more badass imo. He treated Rulk like he was nothing and 3 shotted him. Rulk lately have been written up and Colossus doing him like that is a hell of a showing. I would put that Colossonaut above pretty much any Jugs minus Trion. He will be fighting Savage Hulk soon and how they have been displaying Hulk lately, if Colossonaut beats him, this will be an amazing showing for him. I think during this fight he will turn Doomsday like again and Hulk suppose to power up (probably WWH, who knows).

Another thing...he will be fighting Thor again as well.

He was powered down. Don't tell me 3 punches from Rulk can ko him in demon form, while Kurth hitting him with lighting, his hammer and punching him couldn't do it to regular helmet wearing colossus.

He was full powered mode when he fought Kuurth.

yeah he was but he wasn't in his demon form. I think this demon form that Rulk faced is more powerful then the Colossus that faced Kuurth.

FAR more powerful. I like that Colossus.

This demon colossus was INSANE! If even for a couple pages. Pretty sure they wanted to show us how powerful and brutal colossus can be now. Thing is he actually got control back to prevent the collapse of Utopia. Pretty obvious he wanted to get takin out. It will be nuts when he really lets go and doesnt need to be concerned with the well being of others. Eventually it will happen. I doubt they're gonna let him take out thor or hulk but I would personally love to see him rough those guys up. Haha

If he and Hulk fight and no ones around. I expect there to be no environment left.

I expect NO hulk to be left

That would be too much sense for a Hulk comic.

The difference between Demon Colossus and Rulk seems to be as big as between Zeus and Hulk.

Does anyone have the scans of the Red Hulk/Colossus fight before he tapped into the Cyttorak powers?

has he reverted back to human form yet?
seems like he can go back to human form, but he chooses not to

just look at the iner dialog, seems like he aint even worry about Rulk hurting him at all, now we now DP Kuurth>Rulk

So what is the deal with runes on Colossus? Is that a snafu taken from FI? IIRC neither Cain, 8th Day, Trion, or Stevie ever exhibited anything like that. Then again, Cain spent most of his tome being a proper Juggernaut.

Though the "I disappear for a while" did give me a chill. :-)

Those runes looks like the ones kuurth was creating.
