And yes, Colossus has been getting taken down, but it's a lot harder than you're making it sound. It took the 2nd or 3 strongest Hulk ever to bend his arms; it took 5 robots from the future all amping their strength to ridiculous levels to slow him down.

That is what I was trying to say.

It didn't look like Hulk was having trouble with Colossus at all, or at least the art didn't depict it. That's not the point. The main thing I remember about the fight was that Colossus got his arms broken and then pushed aside, not Hulks words. Colossus did stand his ground, I'll give you that. If Colossus didn't get his arms bent back, fans would have liked that more than Hulk giving Piotr props, maybe have the two in a quick brawl with Pete being KO'd or knocked away.

The main thing is, why both instances are in the ownage thread. Not for Hulk telling Pete he was a good fighter/could have been a good opponent before WWH, or that Piotr was able to take on 4 Nimrods before a 5th came in. They're there because Pete got destroyed. And that is what people (present company excluded) remember about those fights.

I do remember a good instance, while it is a flashback, a younger teenage Colossus KOing Savage Hulk. That's something Cain hasn't done yet.

This post is just all wrong. WWH one shot She Hulk, Ares, busted Herc face up while holding back. Ripped Sentry face up with a single punch, koed Black Bolt with a single punch but Colossus standing up to Hulk, withstanding some punches and it ending with him getting his arms broke is a bad showing? WTF. If anything, Colossus had one of the better showings against this version of Hulk.

This also doesn't include that in the same fight, Hulk almost killed Strong Guy with a single hit and almost killed Darwin as well with a single punch. Colossus held his ground.

It was a Skrullbolt and we don't know how many hits he took. Happened off-panel.

Quiet.

Actually your post is all wrong. Not once did I say it was a bad showing read it again. I even said Colossus stood his ground in the message you quoted. Overall, Big C didn't seem to be a bother to Hulk judging by the art. He did get one good hit in, but that was the only one that seemed to affect Hulk. (Read the issue again before you post on this point. You seem to imagine things.) You compared the Hulk that fought Sentry to the one that fought Colossus? You yourself have said before in other threads that Hulk wasn't really trying in the fight with the X-men.

Like Stilt pointed out, that wasn't Black Bolt and it happened off panel, so you don't know if it was a single punch.

The point I'm trying to make is that I'd like to not see him get literally broken again. One way to do that is to strengthen his steel, make him more durable. I mentioned changing him to adamantium because I recently saw that alternate universe where it did happened to him. While I thought it was neat, I also thought it a bit much for the character. So I added vibranium. I admittingly don't know to much about vibranium other than it is much, much stronger than steel and is very hard to damage from impact attacks, it absorbs them.

Adding Vibranium to Colossus durability would make him unstoppable. Vibranium absorbs ALL forms of kinetic energy and it doesn't have a limit on what it can absorb. You would basically be fighting an endless, no damaging sponge. Colossus either needs to remain as is or get a small strength and durability increase. Nothing significant..

His strength and durability are fine as they are, imo. He just needs to be written with a bit of respect and interest.

he need to lift more massive objects

lol @ his beard.

At least no more cytorrak, it seems.

Like the beard and I am in shock over Marvel getting rid of Colossonaut.

Things like that don't last long. Fortunately.

break on through to the other side comardes

Now that Colossus will be only on one title, I'll be saving some serious cash. All that's left is UXM 20 and AvX Consequences 4. After that it's all about CaXF.

If there was any one doubting it, Magik destroyed his connection with Cyttorak. Turns out she could have done it anytime she wanted.

Also, Cain is back and got the power back in Thunderbolts. I don't know if he got it all back or just what he had prior. I think he may have it all, but his armor is considerably different.

When did Magik destroy the connection?

Seems like Cain got powered by an alternate Universe Cyttorak.

Uncanny X-Men 20, and yeah, that's what it seems like. I put it up in the Juggernaut respect thread.

Kinda ticked how easily she did it. The Octessence are some of the most powerful demonic entities in Marvel, and Cytorrak is I believe the most powerful out of all of them. For her to sever the connection so easily seems kinda...meh. It's like they just wanted an easy out. And he's not even a Hell Lord unless I missed something.

I'm guessing Cyttorak is going to be ticked off that he lost his favorite avatar. I'm not sure this is over yet.

Finally, Pete's back.
