CBC is just desperate for Colossus to remain "interesting".

Yes, I found Colossus to be far more interesting as Juggernaut as well. I also found him to be a far more interesting Juggernaut. Apparently I’m not alone in this thought. I reviewed sales for Dark Avengers #182, the issue Marvel touted as the return of “THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT, CAIN MARKO”. Turns out that issue sold less units than #180 and 181. In addition, it didn’t even crack the top 100. Don’t get me wrong, I like me some old school one note Cain Marko smash up but I also think there is plenty of room for two Juggernauts.

Its going to be revealed that he still has cyttoraks powers.

I think with Colossus power in flux right now, we are heading towards some kind of upgrade. It may not be what you’re hoping for but it may be something good. At this point I have no idea what it could be.

More interesting than Cain? I could see an argument for that.

More interesting than Colossus was before? No, I don't agree.

More Powerful= More Interesting

This scientific theory has been proven to be fact in the Real World .

I feel bad for you that you think that, tbh.

No, it really hasn't.

@CBC

For me the best Colossus writers were Jim Lee, John Byrne, and Joss Whedon.

Brubaker was passable.

Even if Whedon didn’t do a good job, I’d still give him credit because he brought him back. I thought Gillen and Wood did a good job. What little I’ve seen from Hopeless, I think he’s doing good.

Gillen was solid I thought. He seemed to "get" the character, even if editorial was forcing his hand.

Hopeless looks good so far, agreed. Just have to wonder what's going on with the P5's powers.

prison time

What book is that?

And it seems Colossus' "power break/malfunction" is that he can't fully control his armored form. Randomly going in and out, fully and partially. I know in the latest Cable and X-Force his suit had a knob that controlled it.

Not sure about the writing, but we'll see.

next weeks issue 6 of said title(cable & x-force)

Colossus has been confirmed to appear in the new X-Men film due out next year. Cudmore is the actor set to reprise the role, hopefully it will be a bigger role.

Here's hoping. Because it's not like he could be an actual asset in X2 or X3...oh wait. He could. But it was Wolverine wank all through them.

Pretty good bros moment between Wolverine and Piotr.

Also, always awesome to see Logan freeing Class 100 characters out of their shackles. Hercules, Thor, now Colossus... of course he wasn't resisting, but Raft cuffs need to be pretty durable anyway considering their inmates tend to be super strong.

The fact that its cudmore tells me that it won't be, sadly.

The cast is too big, doubt many characters will get their "five minutes".

Wolverine will.

Like he did in First Class...?

Anyway, I'm not eager to see more of Jackman.
