Hmm... i'm thinking the acid from the aliens from the sigourney weaver movies...

Not sure. Colossus is far stronger than ordinary steel.

How does Colossus heal? Can he heal while in his armored form?

when hulk broke/bent his arms they were gonna use the healer kid while he was still armoured i think , and they were using heat to soften his skin aswell? dunno if that is what the laser was actually used for?

I dont think he does you know, I just think hes really durable. Some mutant called riptide ****** him up and they had to heal Collosus.

Anyone know how good colossus is when it comes to resisting acid?

Colossus was burned by some kind of acid in the Inferno saga, it hurt him but it didn't burn a hole in him. Although the acid didn't have THAT long of a time to affect him. (It has to be noted that the acid was supernatural in origin)

I'm not sure how the Xenomorph acid would affect him. There haven't been any metals in the AvP universe that have withstood it, but some other materials do withstand it. Predators coat some of their weapons with some kind of oil or something similar to protect them from the acid. Also the Predator's blood negates the Acid.

The blood has melted the Predator weaponry which has been stated to be "indestructible" .

Errrr? Is Colossus not a regular member of the Last Defenders story? As it seems like it's a new team in #3

I think I read a interview somewhere and it said the team will be expanded later in the series. So who knows.

Also, there will be a Colossus one-shot in May. Origin story it looks.

i was thinking that because colossus' metal hide is organic in some way, that it would provide some defense... PIS ftw... 😛

Casey says in a interview that he's bringing three new members. He didn't say he's replacing any. So I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well as of right now there is no more X-Men according to Cyclops. On the other hand Colossus is on a world tour with Wolverine and Nightcrawler. Not sure how this is gonna fit into things.

Ok, more petey respect:

Uncanny X-Men 496
Colossus changes to metal form after bullets have been fired, yet his transformation is so damn near instantaneous, he's metal before the bullets hit him...

It also should be noted, that leading up to the gunfire, there had been a bar brawl, and Colossus had stayed in human form then entire time, showing that he is an accomplished fighter even without using his powers...

Wow. Colossus sure cut it close in that scan. Pretty cool.

Here's the fight in full:
